Jennifer Politis, MAPS

Jennifer has had extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of various mental health difficulties in children, adolescents and adults.


Jennifer’s work focuses on individual therapy and assessments (psycho-educational and diagnostic). Her therapeutic work revolves around issues related to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress, self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, eating disorders and body image issues. She also deals with developmental problems, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorder and issues related to school functioning.


Jennifer has a special interest in work with young people and their families. She brings a wealth of experience to her clinical work with children, adolescents and families based on her work across all year-levels in schools. In addition to her work with Maple Family Clinic, Jennifer is currently employed in a secondary school.


Jennifer also enjoys working with people with eating disorders and body image issues. Jennifer is knowledgeable about family-based treatments for eating disorders, including the Maudsley Model approach. As well as providing individual therapy she has also co-facilitated group programs for adults with eating issues. 


Jennifer offers clients a warm, understanding and supportive approach to therapy grounded in evidence-based practice. She enjoys helping people to overcome their challenges and to reach their potential. She works collaboratively with youth, their parents, teachers and schools, to support the social, emotional, and educational development of her clients.

Jennifer is currently available Tuesdays - Fridays and offers after hours appointments.
